It is a condition caused by your body overheating, usually because of prolonged exposure to or physical exertion in high temperatures. It can have fatal consequences when the body temperature rises above 40.5 degrees. Therefore, prevention is important.
Symptoms
Cramps in the abdomen muscles and limbs due to loss of salts. Dehydration that causes excessive thirst, tiredness, headache, also vertigo, palpitations, blurred vision, and body imbalance. To avoid this decompensation it is recommended to wear light, baggy and breathable clothes, cover your head if exposed to the sun, and reduce physical activity at peak times. The ideal is to exercise very early or at nightfall. Avoid heavy meals and drink plenty of water or take frequent showers if it is very hot. If you follow these recommendations, you can enjoy the summer without problems.
