Why the skin of this area change?

The underarm skin may undergo changes due to several factors: excessive sweat, bacteria and/or fungi, friction, hypersensitivity to clothing detergents, very perfumed deodorants, depilation with creams or by using shaving machines, among others

If irritation is severe, the skin of the affected area thickens and pigment due to increased melanin production

Tips

To avoid these inconveniences, all aggressive agents must be removed and use anti-inflammatory medications. If desquamation occurs, moistening creams without fragrance should be used preferably with natural (non-cosmetic) compounds to restore skin hydration and elasticity

If the area still looks dark, soft depigmenting creams should be used to avoid skin inflammation and make the problem worse
