If your child shows a special interest in a particular sport, try the following:

• Ask your child why he/she likes that physical activity: Who makes up the team or if your child is practicing on his/her own
• Give support: Practicing a sport is accompanied by healthy habits. Support your child to modify his/her schedule to go to training, adequately nourished and prepared with his clothing
• Watch together the tournaments of your child’s favorite sport: If he/she likes football, sit down to watch a tournament on TV. In case your child likes another sports discipline go to the Lima 2019 Pan American or Parapan American games
• Talk to your child. Focus the sport as an activity where he/she cannot always win, but enjoy it to the fullest
