An easy and very healthy recipe to prepare. Ideal for patients who want to reduce carbohydrate intake and increase vegetable consumption.
Ingredients
Lettuce leaves
Shredded chicken
Diced tomato
Cucumber in slices
Carrot in slices
Avocado
Lemon
Preparation:
Wash the lettuce leaves, dry with a paper towel, and set aside. In a container add the chicken, avocado, tomato, cucumber, carrot, and add a few drops of lemon. Stir and put the mixture on the lettuce leaves, then roll them into tacos or burritos form. If necessary, hold them with a toothpick.
Vegetables are essential sources of vitamins, minerals, and fiber for our health. On the other hand, chicken protein is low in fat and contributes to the growth and gain of muscle mass. The avocado is a fruit that contains healthy fat and minerals such as potassium and vitamin E.
