What are the symptoms of ADHD in adults?

How is it treated?

The most effective approach combines medication and psychotherapy.

• Stimulants, such as methylphenidate, and non-stimulants, such as atomoxetine, can help improve concentration.
• Cognitive-behavioral therapy is helpful in developing organizational skills, time management, and controlling impulsivity.
