Daily showers, one or more times a day, depending on the activity and age of the person, is also necessary. It is recommended to use neutral soaps, or just let the water run during showers or when washing the affected areas”, explains dr. Carlos Sordo, dermatologist at Clinics Ricardo Palma.

How to treat it

The specialist recommends a change of clothe every time it gets wet with transpiration. Also, it is recommended to take antihistamines to reduce and relief itchiness. “If you have a rush keep your skin dry, so to eliminate the sweat. Avoid putting too much clothe on children to avoid this condition from getting worse”, he explains.

Also, he mentions that the first bath of the day has to be with a mild or neutral soap, and then basically with water. “Dry yourself with small touches with a cloth. Wear cotton clothes and stay at ventilated rooms”. Never use irritating substances on the skin, or apply creams or greasy substances, or powder that obstruct the pores and worsen the condition.
